How we handle your information

This notice explains what ClearViewBi does with the personal information you send through this website, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

ClearViewBi (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/894364/07), owned by Waleed Moos, who is also our information officer. Contact us at info@clearviewbi.co.za.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: names, business details, email addresses, phone numbers and, on the order form, the details we need to set up your service. We never ask for full bank account numbers, and this website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To reply to your request, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, set up and run your service and send your invoices. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.

Where it goes

Form submissions go straight to ClearViewBi's own systems in South Africa. People who work for ClearViewBi see them only when they need to for the reasons above.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the service runs and then for the period the law requires for business records. When a hosted client leaves, one encrypted backup of their ClearViewBi is kept for 12 months so they can come back without starting again. It is deleted earlier if they ask, and after 12 months in any case.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
